This week has been pretty interesting. At the mtc they have
us teach lessons in all italian and it's really hard to do with our limited
vocabulary and usually I end up talking for most of the lesson because my
companion isn't very comfortable with the language. These past couple lessons
though, he's been adding really cool pieces of insight and information and I
really like seeing how dedication and the gift of tongues works in missionaries
lives. I think one of the keys is not being afraid of being wrong and messing
up. I mess up so much when i try to speak italian haha. The teachers are the
'investigators" that we practice teaching and their names are Fritello
Gessel and Serela Bucco. Serela Bucco texts her friends
our mistakes from the lessons, so at least she gets comical relief from what we say. We like to tease them about how their going to get married even though Fritello Gessel is already engaged. Anyway, my italian is improving, the church is true, and I can't wait for Italy.
